A dog had to be rescued after floating out to sea in a kayak off the coast of Northumberland. The Coastguard had begun a search for the German Shepherd following a call that an inflatable had been blown out in strong winds. Farne Island boat skippers spotted the vessel and managed to rescue the dog, which was taken to Seahouses harbour to be reunited with its owners. #dogrescue
